My Requirements
If you ask me to speak at your event, I will do it if I genuinely believe I can contribute knowledge of value to your participants. I am not available for sponsored talks where you expect my employer to fund your event.
Also, my employer usually doesn’t cover travel expenses. To speak at your event / conference I require full coverage of travel and accommodation costs (unless it’s in Hamburg 😉) as well as a ticket to attend your full event / conference.
Between work and family, I can only do about two talks a year that involve longer travel and overnight stays. So please make sure to ask early:
